So last Friday I threw up a post concerning the World's Smallest Political quiz. And since I'm really big on learning more and more and more (until my head goes *pop* ) I figured I'd share with you what I've learned.
First of all, for those who took the quiz and posted scores, thank you. While I didn't learn a whole lot of things about you I didn't know, it did allow me to see in numbers where we agree and disagree. And it was fun to not be arguing about something for once.
While we disagree about how to make this country a better place, I think almost everyone I've argued with or against in this and other blogs does want to make this country a better place. And we are passionate about our positions, as we know they will solve the problems we face. Of course, we can't even agree on what the problems are, so.....
But I also see that we can't stop trying to drive points home, or engaging in namecalling. To put it bluntly, I have moonbats to my left and fanatics to my right. And they mix like puppies and wood chippers: You know there will be someone getting bloodied up. I couldn't even have a friendly blog where we share without sniping.
Now that I think about it, that was the original motivation for the tone I try (and fail when I get pissed) to maintain on SPD. Luckily, I haven't figgered out how to virtually spank people, except with excessive application of gargantuan wordification.
Maybe we just all need a group hug.

Wow, so Gandhi was a "moonbat". I guess that means Mikesamerica will be doing a post on how crazy and looney Gandhi was and how much damage he did to the world.
Heres where I scored on the second test:

This puts me right in about the same place as Ganhdi. And these are the types of people you campaign against?
I know Mike would, but would you have been the British Soldier with the dogs and batons beating the non-Christian, non-white, Indians back in the 40s?

No, moonbats are people on the left fire off angry points in the face of reasonable discussions. And somehow you managed to fit this definition. Way to go.
I could ally myself mostly with Nuge, as he is probably the most individualistic of the bunch. And he plays guitar and hunts. Then it's a tossup between Ghandhi and Charleton, as they were both idealists in their own ways. And George comes in last due to some serious shifts to big-government politics.
I don't really get your point with all this though. You should sip less Kool-Aid before you comment. Really.
Nuge is a nut. I am sure Gandhi could play at least some sort of stringed instrument. Oh, and I play guitar and I have hunted before so there you go, thats all you need right? Maybe I should put myself on that list as well.
If you and mike call me a moonbat, yet my political beliefs are on par with Gandhi, then Gandhi was a "moonbat". Of course the British thought he was...what ever a moonbat is. Is that something like the opposite of a neo-con?
Obviously I'll have to define moonbat. But that is for another post.
And yes, Nuge is nuts. That's what makes him FUN!
