Say What You Mean

Credit where credit is due to Rep. Alan Grayson.

Yeah, I said Alan Grayson.  the epitome of dickhead.  The political essence of spam in a can.  A french fry and two chicken nuggets and a toy short of a Happy Meal. A pair of fucking clown shoes.

But at least he says what's on his mind, without any internal filters.  Whatever is rattling around in his head comes out his mouth (or ass, I'm not sure which orifice is which).  And I can appreciate unfiltered and "honest" things from politicians.  Especially since it clarifies the differences between the Left and Right in how they view the world, rather than couching shit in weasel words and bullshittery.

I don't know how this kookaholic got elected, but I hope he's on the TV every day until the next Congress.  Then I hope he finds a job somewhere in the DNC so he can keep talking.  It'll inspire the nutburgers and convince the rest of the population to vote them out.

And if the poor bastards in Floriduh who made the mistake can't get rid of this Kim Jong Il wannabe, well....

But some politicians are more subtle.

Take the Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger.  He sent a veto out on some bill to the Democrat assemblyman who was behind the bill, and who had kindly heckled the governor over something.

The message (left) included a hidden message, found crossword style:  "Fuck You."  I really hope it was intentional.  It certainly is funny.

Almost reminds me of the Dick Cheney "Go fuck yourself" fun.

*sigh*

But then there's Nancy Pelosi.  Sweet scary Nancy.  In pursuit of government health care, there's no euphemism she won't apply to cram the shit down our throat.  One of them has been the "public option," which is supposed to inject "competition" into the health insurance market.

Obviously, people have figured out that the government option is as competitive as the "public" government schools.  So onto the next euphemism.

It's the "consumer option" now.  I guess even she figured calling it the "competitive option" would make too many people laugh.  Let me see if I can come up with some better pseudo-names for the government option:

Family option
Cuddly option
Shiny happy option
Happy Happy Joy Joy option
Peace and love with doves and shit option
Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what is the option option

Nothing like a renaming to hide your true intentions in another thousand-page document.  Ah, transparency, and "change we can believe in" all on display.

Are you kidding? Grayson is awesome!

Well your criticism of Grayson sure shows your political roots...

Love your Joe Wilson's and can't stand Grayson...

Guess you cannot stand liberals who shoot back...

Toad: Actually, I was talking about the 2,000-page health care disaster.

And of course Grayson is "awesome." that's why i want him to keep talking.

Tao: Actually, I did set the record straight on Wilson (he got it technically wrong). And I love listening to Grayson's raving. I just can't see the sense in voting for him. It'd be like the right electing Michael Savage.

Guess you cannot stand liberals who shoot back...

Uh, hello? My comment section? WTF?

Toad: Also, the Patriot Act comes in at 132 pages.

TAO, did anyone tell you recently that you need to see a shrink?

Well, I'm telling you now. You are way over due.

Grayson is awesome, if you like legislation that goes against the public interest and rarely telling the truth about anything on the floor of Congress or on interview shows.

And Mr. Weiner has no power at all. Grayson, on the other hand, is in Congress. A real embarassment.

It makes as much sense as labelling an effort to get rid of the right to a secret ballot in union elections and otherwise force even more works into unions as the "Employee Free Choice Act".

If it really protected employee free choice, the Dems and the union bosses would be 100% against it.
